Brisbane is the final stop of the Persona: Contemporary Veteran Artists tour to Queensland at the Queensland Maritime Museum, South Brisbane, Feb 2 - Mar 3
Persona - "the aspect of someones character that is presented to or perceived by others’
A collaboration between ANVAM, photographer Michael Christofas and the Veteran Arts Community, Persona showcases portraits of veteran artists within their creative spaces. Persona has been designed across three formats; a touring exhibition, an online showcase, and a hardcover titled Persona: Contemporary Veterans Artists: Volume 1.
With the support of the Queensland Government the touring exhibition, curated by Tanja Johnston, has travelled Queensland’s coast during 2023/24. These include stops at The Oasis Townsville and the Tanks Arts Centre, Cairns. Hosted by the Queensland Maritime Museum, is the final opportunity to view the exhibition on the current tour.
